2010 ADAC RALLY DEUTSCHLAND
This is an all asphalt event and has one of the widest variety of paved surfaces on the calendar. It's a tricky rally that demands the very best from the drivers.

SEBASTIEN LOEB WINS RALLY DEUTSCHLAND
Sebastien Loeb stated after the win, "It really was a perfect weekend. I had a big battle with Dani at the start. He was pushing hard. I was not able to make a big difference, until the Panzerplatte. After that stage I felt more comfortable."

NESTE OIL RALLY FINLAND
JYVASKYLA, FINLAND
JULY 29 - 31, 2010

NESTE OIL RALLY FINLAND
This rally is a fast gravel affair. The Finland rally has high speed runs along tree lined tracks full of fast, flying 'yumps' that demand absolute, balls out commitment.

JARI-MATTI LATVALA WINS RALLY FINLAND
Finnish driver Jari-Matti Latvala made history at the Neste Oil Rally Finland today, becoming the youngest driver to win the event.

This was the fourth win at World Championship level for Latvala, who is codriven by Miikka Anttila. His first win was the 2008 Rally Sweden, when he became the youngest winner of a WRC rally. His most recent victory came just 12 weeks ago at the Rally of New Zealand.

RALLY BULGARIA
BOROVETS, BULGARIA
JULY 9 - 11, 2010

THE RALLY BULGARIA
After 39 years as the country's premier rally event, Rally Bulgaria finally makes its debut in the World Rally Championship.

The first of four asphalt rallies in 2010, Bulgaria represents a leap into the unknown for the majority of WRC teams and drivers. But if the popularity of the European Championship rally is anything to go by, the combination of a challenging, compact route and the stunning mountain scenery will make it an exciting addition.

SEBASTIEN LOEB WINS RALLY BULGARIA
Sebastien Loeb and Daniel Elena today won the inaugural FIA World Rally Championship event in Bulgaria. The Citroen Total World Rally Team crew claimed a 29.5 second winning margin over team mates Dani Sordo/Marc Marti, with Petter Solberg and Chris Patterson taking the final podium position.

The final day of competition in the Bulgarian mountains took in two loops of two stages covering 94.52 competitive kilometres. With significant time differences between the crews, the main fight on the leaderboard was between Sordo and Solberg. However, neither was prepared to risk their podium placing and so positions within the top 10 remained unchanged throughout the day.

Former Formula One World Champion Kimi Raikkonen continued to recover from his first day accident, setting top times and ultimately finishing 11th overall in his first tarmac rally.

RALLY NEW ZEALAND
AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND
MAY 7 - 9, 2010

THE RALLY NEW ZEALAND
Rally New Zealand is the oldest WRC event in the Southern Hemisphere and is renowned for its fast flowing gravel roads and the beautiful landscape of the country's North Island.

JARI-MATTI LATVALA WINS RALLY NEW ZEALAND
"It's been a very interesting weekend. For me it's been, I would say, a little bit of a strange rally, because I have not won a single stage in this rally but in the end I'm the winner. So it seems that the consistency matters. So I was a little bit lucky that these guys beside me made mistakes. But anyway you need to finish the last stage and our time comes, so in a way a great weekend." said Jari-Matti Latvala at the post race press conference.

He added, "When I started this morning I though okay the main thing is to keep the third place. But things obviously changed and going in to the last stage I just thought that if I drive fast it's good, as I have been driving so far - if I don't start doing a massive push, because I know what happens then when Mr Latvala starts to push too hard! It's happened so many times, but it worked this time and I am very happy about it."

RALLY OF TURKEY
ISTANBUL, TURKEY
APRIL 16 - 18, 2010

THE RALLY OF TURKEY
This year the Rally has shifted location to the other side of Turkey, to Istanbul - the world's fifth largest city and the only one to straddle two continents (Europe and Asia).

Due to the new location, this year's Rally of Turkey is a big step into the unknown for the WRC drivers and teams, who will tackle a brand new set of stages to the north and east of the Asian side of Istanbul.

SEBASTIEN LOEB WINS RALLY OF TURKEY
Sebastien Loeb won Rally of Turkey by nearly a minute to extend his lead of the World Rally Championship to 40 points over privateer Citroen driver Petter Solberg, who finished second.

Citroen now has a 15 point lead over Ford in the manufacturers' rankings. "It was good to be able to fight from the front and not have to think about the tactics," said Loeb. "It was not easy because I really had to push from the start."

Solberg claimed his third consecutive podium to move up to the championship runner up spot, making good on his promise to be a genuine title contender in 2010.

JORDAN RALLY
This is a rally of extremes. From scorching temperatures - which can top 40 degrees Celsius - to the wild landscape the sandy gravel stages snake through. The headquarters and Service Park are located next to the Dead Sea at the lowest land point on earth, 50km away from the Kingdom's capital city of Amman.

SEBASTIEN LOEB WINS JORDAN RALLY
Loeb, the defending and six-times World Champion, claiming his 56th WRC win, maintained his healthy overnight lead throughout Saturday's eight stages to finish 35.8 seconds ahead of Ford driver Jari-Matti Latvala who finished second in a Ford Focus RS WRC.

Citroen privateer Petter Solberg claimed third, with 1 minute and 11 seconds behind Loeb in another Citroen C4 WRC.

RALLY MEXICO RETURNS FOR 2010
MIKKO HIRVONEN, MEXICO, March 6, 2010
MIKKO HIRVONEN, MEXICO, March 6, 2010
The WRC event rotation system meant Mexico was absent from last year's calendar, but it returns in 2010 amid a year long fiesta to mark the 100th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution and the 200th anniversary of its independence.

With Rally Argentina sitting out the 2010 season, Mexico is the only country in the American continent to host a round of this year's championship, making it a popular destination for stateside rally fans.

SEBASTIEN LOEB WINS RALLY MEXICO
Citroen C4 WRC driver Sebastien Loeb sealed a crushing victory on Rally Mexico today, round two of the 2010 World Rally Championship, to leap into the lead of the FIA Drivers' standings.

RALLY SWEDEN, SWEDEN
FEBUARY 12 - 14, 2010

RALLY SWEDEN IS BACK
The rally had a difficult time in 2008, when mild temperatures turned stages around its central Sweden base of Karlstad into a slush fest. This year, in an effort to deliver a proper winter landscape, much of the event has been shifted north. The start, finish and Super Special remain in Karlstad, while the Service Park is 85km away in the town of Hagfors - ideally placed for the gravel roads and forests of the Varmland and Dalarna regions.

NEW FOR 2010 RALLY SWEDEN
With the exception of the Karlstad Super Special, only two of the stages from 2008 remain. The rest is a mix of brand new routes and tests used in previous years when the rally went further north.

HIRVONEN WINS RALLY SWEDEN
"It's absolutely fantastic!" said Hirvonen. "And I'm really happy it's over after those last few stages; you can't imagine how nervous I was in there. It's a perfect start to my year, I've never won the first round before, but after last season I've got one more year of experience. Now I plan to carry on like this. It's a new game in Mexico and I can't wait to get started again."
