BOB'S TOWING SPORTSMAN SERIES

Sportsman Stock Car Series at Mosport International Speedway

This weekly running series is one step above the 6 OR LESS division. These are older model rear wheel drive family cars in the 350 cubic inch range. They are normally aspirated and produce between 250 and 275 horsepower. The engines are sealed by the track to make the series more affordable. The Thunder cars are rebuilt with racing roll cages and all standart racing safety equipment including Hoosier racing tires and foam filled plastic fuel cells.
This series is still very affordable and very exciting, entertaining racing.

In 2009 the Thunder Car Series changed names to become the Bob's Towing Sportsman Series.
