PORSCHE GT3 CUP CHALLENGE CANADAA new race series brought to you by IMSA and Porsche Cars Canada Ltd.

The first on May 17-20 at Mosport International Raceway, the second on June 8-10 at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in support of the F1 Grand Prix of Canada. Next its off to Circuit Mont-Tremblant July 5-8, Back July 19-22 to Mosport, and closing the season August 9-12 at Calabogie Motorsports Park.
Developed by Porsche for their one make cup series worldwide, 911 GT3 Cup is based on the production 911 GT3 RS road car. Cup car engines are largely identical to the production engine of the 911 GT3 RS, with the same power output of 450 hp and the same maximum engine speed of 8,500 rpm.
The series is divided into three classes; Platinum Cup, featuring the more powerful 2010 and 2012 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars, Gold Cup, which includes 2005-1/2 - 2009 Porsches, and Silver Cup for 2002 - 2005-1/2 996 Porsches.
