OFFC
The Ontaro Formula Ford Championship is Ontario's premier Open Wheel series. This is a series for amateurs and pro racing hopefuls, and the cars provide an intense racing experience for relatively low cost. The Formula 1600 cars often range in price from $10,000 to $20,000.
The cars run in three classes. The "A" class is for chassis built between 1995-2008. The Class "B" is for chassis built between 1985 and 1994. The Class "C" is for chassis built between 1969 and 1984.
The races take place at Shannonville Motorsport Park, Mosport International Raceway and Calabogie Motorspots Park.

The OFFC-1600 cars will race in support of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series - Vortex Brake Pads 200.The Ontario Formula Ford Championship will hold a Saturday, Sunday doubleheader for their second of five appearances at Mosport this season.
STEFAN RZADZINSKI EDGES SHANE JANTZI FOR RACE 1 WIN
Saturday's racing also saw the Ontario Formula Ford Championship F1600 run the first leg of their weekend doubleheader. After winning the pole in qualifying, Edmonton's Stefan Rzadzinski took the race over Shane Jantzi of Ayr, ON. Caitlin Johnston came on strong late in the race to finish fourth.

SHANE JANTZI WINS FIFTH CAN AM CUP
For a fifth consecutive year Ayr's Shane Jantzi won the Can Am Cup after taking the second race of the Ontario Formula Ford Championship F1600 Saturday/Sunday doubleheader. Caitlyn Johnston of Orangleville finished third, about an hour after competing in the NASCAR race.

Spencer Pigot of Windermere, Florida took the first race of the season, while OFFC veteran Dean Baker topped the podium in race 2.
