ONTARIO FORMULA FORD CHALLENGE
The Ontaro Formula Ford Challenge is Ontario's premier Open Wheel series. This is a series for amateurs and pro racing hopefuls, and the cars provide an intense racing experience for relatively low cost. The Formula 1600 cars often range in price from $10,000 to $20,000.
The cars run in three classes. The "A" class is for chassis built between 1995-2008. The "B" Class is for chassis built between 1985 and 1994. The "C" Class is for chassis built between 1969 and 1984. The races take place at Shannonville Motorsport Park, Mosport International Raceway and Calabogie Motorspots Park. Always exciting races and finishes.

MORTIMER RACING DOMINATES 2008 OFFC SEASON
Mortimer Racing is celebrating a dominant season in the Ontario Formula Ford Championship after clinching both A and B class titles over the weekend at Mosport International Raceway. Despite a disappointing showing in the final two races, Matt White was crowned class A champion with a total of 6 wins and 3 second place finishes, placing no worse than second in every race he completed. From the first race of the season, Matt established a points lead in the series that remained unchallenged to the end. Matt was the overall Champion in 2007.
Lew Mackenzie, driving the Forbes and Manhattan sponsored Van Diemen, was crowned B class champion after a dominant season. Team owner Nigel Mortimer finished in second place driving a Euro Swift.
A jubilant Matt White was quick to give credit to the Mortimer team as the reason behind his success. I'm thrilled to be crowned the 2008 Ontario Formula Ford Challenge champion," he said. "This past weekend was very challenging for the entire Mortimer Racing crew after I suffered a huge crash on Saturday, causing the team to work throughout the night to rebuild the badly damaged car."
Matt's fortunes did not improve on Sunday, as the car suffered a rare electrical problem while battling for the lead. "Fortunately our success and hard work throughout the entire season allowed us to overcome this weekends setbacks and capture the 2008 title," he said.
Matt would like to thank his sponsors Sky's the Limit, Scott's Round-Up and ontrackdriver.com for their vital contribution to another
winning effort. "This season would not have been possible without their endless support," said Matt.
Matt and Lew would also like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the OFFC and the countless volunteers that make the Formula Ford series possible and one of the best racing series in North America.
EVENT 7 - CASC MOTORSPORT CELEBRATION OF MOSPORT
MOSPORT INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY September 27- 28, 2008
The OFFC will take part in the Celebration of Mosport weekend featuring the Formula Car Can Am Cup.
This is a non- points event.
